Our Process

In order to create our custom fit mouthguards, we mix some quick setting impression material, take the impression of your mouth, create a plaster mold from that impression, then vacuum form the mouthguard material around the mold to perfectly fit your mouth.

Taking the Impression
Tray with Alginate
The impression material, also known as alginate,
is mixed to create a quick-setting, consistent mold.
Taking an Impression
The impression process takes approximately 1-2 minutes while the material sets and takes the shape of the mouth.

I like my new mouthguard from Headstrong Mouthguards. Being molded to my mouth, I can talk with it and give direction to my teammates.  It stays in until I remove it.  I actually forgot I was wearing it and drank water with it in my mouth.
